Mr.
Lawrence C. Songwe, is a Senior Investigator at the Department
on Disability Services of the United States Department of Justice.
In this capacity, he works with police officers daily to investigate
licensing issues and white collar crimes including embezzlement,
kickbacks and financial mismanagement of providers of health care
to disabled persons, as well as abuse, neglect and physical and
sexual assaults of disabled persons. Mr. Songwe has substantial
law enforcement contacts in the Washington, D.C. area and has
participated in training provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation
covering topics such as forensic interviewing and computer search
and seizure.
Mr.
Songwe is an attorney who received his L.L.M. degree from Howard
University School of Law in 1999 and provides immigration law
consulting services to various law firms and practitioners.
