Dr. Edward M. Mazze, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director. He is a distinguished University Professor of Business Administration at the University of Rhode where he was previously Dean of the College of Business Administration and holder of the Alfred J. Verrecchia-Hasbro. Inc. Leadership Chair in Business (1998-2006). Dr. Mazze was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of William Penn Bank in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1985-1987. He was a member of the Panel of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees for the United States Department of Justice between 1984 and 1997 and 2005. From 1966 to the present, he consults in management, marketing and business operations to corporations, educational institutions, state and federal government agencies and law firms. His clients have included General Motors Corporation, Coca-Cola, Inc., Duke Power Company and Cox Communications. He serves on the Board of Directors of Technitrol, Inc. (NYSE), Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ), The Barrett Growth Fund and the Ocean State Business Development Authority. Dr. Mazze received his BBA and MBA degrees from the City University of New York and his Ph.D. in business administration from Pennsylvania State University.
